Pookie Martin (pookie007) | Sunday, January 19, 2003 - 06:26 pm I came to Dr. Toth in July 02, after testing positive for ureaplasma and Strep B with my ob/gyn. Dr. Toth's test (and subsequent re-test revealed two uterine bugs that, while they did not go away with the initial 5 weeks of oral antibiotics, were sufficiently suppressed prior to my second IVF -- and I got pregnant! I am 39.3, unexplained IF. Because the bugs are still lurking, I will do three 3-week cycles of Ampicillin during the pg, per Dr. T. I am now in my 11th week wiht a singleton pregnancy, and am confident that it will be successful. I am also positive that Dr. Toth's treatment played a key role in enabling my second IVF to be successful. Best of luck to all, Pookie |
